I know... it seems like forever since I've blogged. I realize it too! Here's a look at some projects I've worked on in the last few weeks. I HAVE been sewing and I've definitely been crafty - promise!

| This rag garland is for my daughter's upcoming birthday party - it's an "Under The Sea/Ariel" themed party so this should fit right in! I used yarn, ribbon, blue/green/turquoise fabrics and ties it all onto some jute string. It is GORGEOUS! I kind of want to find somewhere else in my house to use it when the party is over.... |

This little elephant skirt went to Emily's daughter Isabelle on her birthday - perfect for a 4 year old, don't you think?
(I need to make sure I say that I found the tutorial for these skirts via www.lilblueboo.com - it is a FANTASTIC tutorial and I've so enjoyed making these adorable skirts for my daughters and their little friends!!!!!) |

| My friend Shelly asked me to make her a wreath that will trasnition from Spring into Summer well. She has LOTS of family & friends who'll be coming to her house soon to celebrate her husband's Change of Command and she wanted something pretty on her front door to greet them! I am really happy with how this turned out - the color combo is awesome! |
