I was contacted recently by a friend of my MIL's to provide a donation for an event she's planning called 'The Power of the Purse'. It's being held on November 3rd in Vancouver, WA and it'll be an event to raise money for Community Services Northwest. CSNW is an organization that provides addiction and mental health services, supportive housing and the Wellness Project to over 4,100 individuals in Clark County annually. The Power of the Purse event features keynote speaker Deborah Owens who is a wealth coach, talk show host and author. Deborah will be speaking about the Seven Wealthy Habits and giving fininancial advice and tips - what a great event this is going to be! You can find out more about CSNW and The Power of the Purse by going to
www.communityservicesnw.org.
The bags that I donated for the event are this wonderful diaper bag which is reversible, features 8 velcro'd pockets, one deep separate pocket for small items, pleated and decoratively stitched handles which go across the body, a fabric looped button closure (either way the bag is reversed) as well as a fabric loop key fob to ensure your keys don't fall to the bottom of the 'handbag abyss'.
The second bag I donated is one of my 'original sized' handbags - it feautres a gorgeous botanical green print fabric for the outside and is reversible to an avocado green floral print on the interior. It too has two pleated and decoratively stitched handles with two small pockets - one inside and one outside. Both of these bags are machine washable!
